Women in Africa struggle to access sexual and reproductive health products as a result of stigma and taboos.
Designed by women, for women, this confidential and digital last mile distribution platform sells health and household goods, delivered in plain, anonymous packages to the doorstep or to pick-up points, via a network of agents. Anonymity and access are the two critical elements for providing women with health advice, healthcare and self-care products in this part of the world. Kasha also sells B2B to small kiosk shops, pharmacies, hospitals and clinics.
In Rwanda, TRANSFORM supported Kasha on product affordability, consumer acquisition and retention, e-commerce and how to optimise health promotion.
TRANSFORM then provided additional funding to help integrate micro-credit services into the platform and expand the agent network across Kenya and optimise Kasha’s digital content.
